About Our Practice at Littleton Eye Care

Dr. Kevin Stratton earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Ursinus College and his Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. During his doctorate externship education, Dr. Stratton received clinical honors in low vision, primary eye care, and hospital rotations.

He is also a recipient of numerous awards, including Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, Pennsylvania College of Optometry Scholarship, E.F. Wildermuth Memorial Scholarship, and Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Dr. Stratton’s interests include contact lens fitting, diagnosis and management of ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eyes, glaucoma, and primary eye care for the whole family. Dr. Stratton is board-certified by the American Board of Optometry, a current member of the American and New Hampshire Optometric Associations, and a clinical preceptor for Salus University.

As an avid hiker and skier, Dr. Stratton pursued his dream of living close to the mountains soon after attaining his doctorate degree. He and his wife relocated to New Hampshire and have since provided comprehensive eye care to our community.

In his spare time, Dr. Stratton volunteers to help area public schools with vision screenings and enjoys spending time with his wife and their 3 children, skiing, hiking, and coaching soccer.

Dr. Winnie Tseng was born in Winnipeg (thus her name Winnie) and raised in Vancouver, Canada, where she graduated from the University of British Columbia and received her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology.

Following her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Tseng earned her Doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she received several academic awards, graduated with Clinical Honors in low vision, and was elected to the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.

Her training included an internship at the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Clinic in Alaska and various specialty clinics in Pennsylvania. Dr. Tseng then returned to graduate school and earned an MBA in Health Care Management from Quinnipiac University, where she was inducted into the International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma.

Dr. Tseng practices optometry at Littleton, Woodsville, and Lincoln Eye Care Centers, with a special interest in the treatment of dry eyes, glaucoma management, contact lens fitting, ocular disease, and comprehensive eye care for the entire family.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Optometry, a President of the New Hampshire Optometric Association, a secretary to the Littleton Rotary Charitable Fund, an ambassador to the Granite United Way’s Community Impact Committee, an American Optometric Association member, and a clinical preceptor for Salus University and New England College of Optometry.

Dr. Tseng lives with her husband, Kevin, and their 3 children in Lisbon. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening outdoors, hiking, and traveling with her family.

Dr. Erica Griffin earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Griffin enjoys helping patients of all ages achieve their visual needs. Her professional interests are primary eye care for the whole family, contact lenses, and ocular disease, including the management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye disease, macular degeneration, and surgical co-management.

Dr. Griffin is actively involved in community outreach programs such as the Diabetes Support Group at Cottage Hospital and in volunteer vision screenings for children in our local schools.

The New Hampshire Optometric Association awarded Dr. Griffin as the 2019 Young Optometrist of the Year. The award honors an optometrist who has been in practice for less than 10 years and has devoted their time to the profession, involvement with the state association, and service to the public. Dr. Griffin is a past President of the New Hampshire Optometric Association and a member of the American Optometric Association. She was awarded the New Hampshire Optometrist of the Year in 2023 for her service and dedication to the profession.

Originally a Michigan native, Dr. Griffin and her husband have resided in Lisbon for the past few years. They have been enjoying the mountains of the North Country with skiing and hiking. She also enjoys yoga, karate, and traveling.

Dr. Ryan Watari earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, where he majored in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine and minored in Biology. He earned his doctorate at the New England College of Optometry, where he was awarded membership into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
His clinical rotations included private practices in Rhode Island and New Hampshire, ocular disease-focused training at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Providence, RI, and a community health center in Holyoke, MA. He received several accolades, including the Beider Moral Obligation Scholarship and the Ned S. Witkin Low Vision Award.

Dr. Watari is interested in systemic disease with associated ocular complications, retinal vascular disease, specialty contact lenses, and low vision rehabilitation. He is a current member of the American Optometric Association and the New Hampshire Optometric Association.

A former Army combat medic, Dr. Watari served our country in 2 tours of duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom. His training included Air Assault School and the Rappel Master course.
Originally from Roselle, IL, he became a longtime resident of Bellingham, MA. He currently resides in Littleton, enjoying the great community, outdoors, and beauty of the White Mountains. Outside the office, Dr. Watari also enjoys several disciplines of target sports, hiking, and playing guitar and banjo.

Dr. Samuel Stack graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Connecticut and then earned a Doctorate in Optometry from SUNY College of Optometry. While at SUNY, Dr. Stack won the Johnson and Johnson J. Pat Cummings Scholarship and the Mr. and Mrs. Unger Award for Excellence in Optometry. Dr. Stack completed externship rotations at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, a private practice in New York, and in the Specialty Contact Lens department of SUNY Optometry. Dr. Stack completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the Erie VA Medical Center after completing his Doctorate.

Dr. Stack’s optometric interests include emergency eye care such as foreign body removal, treatment of corneal disease, glaucoma management, and fitting of specialty lenses such as rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses. Dr. Stack is also proficient in medical Spanish. Dr. Stack is an active member of the American Optometric Association and New Hampshire Optometric Association.

In his free time, Dr. Stack enjoys golf, skiing, hiking, and outdoor activities with his wife, Laura, and their dog. Dr. Stack also loves cheering on his alma mater, the UConn Huskies!

Dr. Laura Karle is originally from Erie, Pennsylvania. She graduated summa cum laude from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Science. She earned her doctorate at the State University of New York College of Optometry, receiving the Dr. William M. Eisenberg Memorial Award for Excellence in Ocular Disease. She went on to complete a residency at the Erie Veterans Affairs Medical Center, with a focus in Ocular Disease and Primary Care.

Her professional interests include the management and treatment of dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, corneal disease, age-related macular degeneration, visual issues relating to traumatic brain injury, low vision services, and contact lens care. She is also interested in optometric outreach and has been on international service trips to Grenada and Guatemala to provide eye care to underdeveloped areas.

Dr. Karle likes to spend her time outdoors. She enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, biking and running. She lives with her husband, Sam, and their dog in Lyman, NH.
